Dagon

Lets take a look at Dagon. We know that in the bible. Dagon was worshiped by the Philistines.

Judges 16:23 Then the lords of the Philistines gathered them together for to offer a great sacrifice unto Dagon their god, and to rejoice: for they said, Our god hath delivered Samson our enemy into our hand

Dagon means fish-god in hebrew see Strong's concordance #1712 - dagown the fish god. We can still see this worship played out today, just look at the Catholic Church, the Pope, and their bishops, and check out their mitres. Today the name Dagon is replaced by the name Ichthus. Ichthus means fish in Greek see Strongs conordance # 2486 .

The church will tell you Ichthus is an acronym for;
Iesous CHristos THeos Uios Soter, translated into english this reads; Jesus Christ God Son Savior. But in truth, it is the continuation of Dagon worship. If you look at the monogram of Ichthus in Greek the I, X, and ς . The first, second and the last letter, stigma., and superimpose them on top of each other and you get the 666 symbol, spoken of in Revelation. And this is why we have all the fish symbols in Christianity. (Remember that the true name of the Messiah is Yehowshuwa, and his father's name is Yehowah. See Yehowah and Yehowshuwa, the True Bible Names in Hebrew )

Is this also the reason they call it the holy see (sea)? There are
a lot of fish swimming around, this pond.

What it all boils down to, is that this is all revolved around sun worship. Making the sun the creator, as a generative force. See Sun Worship in Christianity , it also talks about the cross as a Mark of the Catholic Church.
For information on the Greek symbols for the number 666, and so on. See The Greek Symbol of St. John We want to be prepared for the soon to come troubles we will have to face, and not be fooled by the churches.

Dagon and the Catholic Church

Dagon was the name of the sun god in Egypt who had plunged into the waters of the womb to be reborn. This may be why the Catholic Church pray to Mary (mare or maris, the Latin name for the ocean or the sea). If anyone wants to join a church today, what do they have to do? They have to get baptized. For the Protestants, they have to be baptized by immersion. "Plunge into the waters of the womb to be reborn". An initiation of sorts. And to top it all off, the initiate has to accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior. Jesus Christ is Dagon.

The true name of the Messiah is Yehowshuwa.

The main worship in Babylon is to Dagon, and in Chaldean times the head of the church was the representative of Dagon, he was infallible and people had to kiss his ring and his slipper, and he was also addressed as 'Your Holiness'. he also wore the fish mitre and robes. This sure looks like the Catholic church today.
The Catholic church claims that tradition is a vaild source of doctrine. But the bible states otherwise.
Yehowshuwa the son of Yehowah stated;
Matthew 15:7 hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with lips; but their heart is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching doctrines the commandments of men.

This quote is refering to Isaiah 29:13
Wherefore Yehowah said, Forasmuch as this people draw near with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
14 Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent shall be hid.
15 Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from Yehowah, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us?

The Catholic church has many traditions from Babylon, including infant baptism, prayers to the dead and the relics, repetitive prayers with beads, forgiveness of sins, the mass and Sunday worship. Now remember that the Catholic church is the mother of all the Christian churches.

Cardinal Ratzinger said in Sept 2000 in "Dominus Iesus" that " It must be always clear that the one, holy. catholic and apostolic universal church is not the sister, but the mother of all the churches." Therefore all Christian Churches are worshiping the Sun. They are the daughters of the great whore of Revelation.

Revelation 17:5 And upon her forehead a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

The distinctive hat worn by bishops of the Catholic Church is the mitre. The mitre was originally worn by the Old Testament priests that Yaweh God appointed during the desert wanderings ... Moses' brother Aaron being the first.

Exo 28:1

Take unto thee also Aaron thy brother with his sons, from among the children of Israel, that they may minister to me in the priest's office: Aaron, Nadab, and Abiu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

Exo 28:2

And thou shalt make a holy vesture for Aaron, thy brother, for glory and for beauty.

Exo 28:3

And thou shalt speak to all the wise of heart, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron's vestments, in which he being consecrated, may minister to me.

Exo 28:4

And these shall be the vestments that they shall make: A rational and an ephod, a tunic and a strait linen garment, a mitre and a girdle. They shall make the holy vestments for thy brother Aaron and his sons, that they may do the office of priesthood unto me.

As you can see, Yaweh God fails to mention Dagon here, so we must conclude that the mitre not intended to honor any God but Yaweh.

Exodus 28:4 The word mitre Hebrew #4701 Strong: H4701Orig: from 6801; a tiara, i.e. official turban (of a king or high priest):--diadem, mitre. H6801Strong: H6801Orig: a primitive root; to wrap, i.e. roll or dress:--be attired, X surely, violently turn.It is a turban not a fish head! And the name is not Yaweh. The Almighty's name is YHWH, Yehowah

wo nder where the fish head mitre would stand in the 2nd commandment-- the tanakh doesnt support the mitered headress --a headdress yes--mitered as not specific.the wilderness was the state of confusion, not the wondering around sand dunes lost. There is no doubt that dagonism is pagan, and the church found a way to control the mass by a heaven and hell --and there is no portion where it promises either heaven or hell--I shall make them as it they had never been--[wicked]--oblivian--bottomless pit. All this will come out shortly--and the fall of christianity to God not a false god

---and the name of God of moses is given in exd 3:14--Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh--for all eternity

Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh means in English,

Be That Be , in the KJV it is translated as

I AM THAT I AM.

The Almighty states his name in Exd 6:3 as YHWH or YEHOWAH

great articles i agree with a lot of the information you post here but i disagree in where you have spoken about Egypt maybe we have different information from my research on egypt they never worshipped dagon, the sun was represented thru re' he was the hidden one his wife was muut, then when osirus was murdered by his brother set and bought back to life by anubis and isis. i'm stating this b/c in another article you mention the Egyptian trinity of Set, Horus, and Isis when basic knowledge is that Horus fueded with Set in vengence of his fathers death who was Osirus. That's another theme of resurection that is found in christianity. also Jesus' is not the first Christ to resurrect from the dead, there's Chrishna, and other i believe 15 other prophets who met the same fate but these names i don't know by heart, i would have to back track my research. this knowledge from babylon dates back to mesopatania "no sure on spelling right now" who some belive pre-dates egypt. it's great to expand knowledge by having intellectual conversations i'm not argueing with your info just sharing mine with yours great page, i found your page today since this was a convo i was having with a few people today about the state and purpose of the catholic church. thanks for posting this peace

Scripture warns us in many ways, to mix the Holy with the Unholy makes the whole unholy!

A Good example of this is the Golden Calf that Aaron Made. I had often wondered why Moshe ground it to powder, then made the Children of Israel drink it and not use it in the Tabernacle. But why not melt it down and use it? Surely the melting down of it would purifier it!

Then it came to me, It had been defiled! It was fit for nothing but the dung heap!

Not only had it became unholy to YHVH, but anything they would have made from it would a also been a reminder to the Children of Israel of the Golden Calf.

Ro-Jo-Yo, that is not the only translation of the words " hayah ash-er hayah ", the problem that you run into in the translation is the tense, The ancient Hebrew had only two tenses. Perfect tense and unperfect tense. Perfect tense is a completion of the task, Like " I walked to the store " the unperfect tense is an uncompleted task, like " I am walking to the store " or " I will walk to the store. " Also giving the fact that one would can have many different meanings!

hayah ash-er hayah = I AM THAT I AM,.

hayah can mean, "I AM," or "I WILL BE".

hayah A primitive root (compare H1933); to exist, that is, be or become, come to pass (always emphatic, and not a mere copula or auxiliary): - beacon, X altogether, be (-come, accomplished, committed, like), break, cause, come (to pass), continue, do, faint, fall, + follow, happen, X have, last, pertain, quit (one-) self, require, X use.

ash-er - A primitive relative pronoun (of every gender and number); who, which, what, that; also (as adverb and conjunction) when, where, how, because, in order that, etc.: - X after, X alike, as (soon as), because, X every, for, + forasmuch, + from whence, + how (-soever), X if, (so) that ([thing] which, wherein), X though, + until, + whatsoever, when, where (+ -as, -in, -of, -on, -soever, -with), which, whilst, + whither (-soever), who (-m, -soever, -se). As it is indeclinable, it is often accompanied by the personal pronoun expletively, used to show the connection.

To know the correct pronunciation of the words, you would have to travel back before Babylon, as the writing and spoken word took on many aspects of Babylon. Look at the Paleo Hebrew writing against the writing of Modern Hebrew and it changed from Picture letters to box letters. There are many forms of how to pronounce His name and that's ok, He knows who He is! And He knows when I address Him!

"Scripture warns us in many ways, to mix the Holy with the Unholy makes the whole unholy!"

This can be disproved immediately with the fact of the Incarnation. Either God was made unholy in Christ (by uniting to the fallen human nature), or the above statement is absurd.

The scholarship behind the accusations made in this article is laughable.

Dagon was a Philistine fertility God. It is mentioned in 1 Samuel and 1 Chronicles. I have no idea where this assumed fish imagery is coming from; there is no Philistine association between Dagon and fish. Furthermore, Dagon doesn't have a direct counterpart in the Babylonian pantheon, so this accusation of pagan fish imagery in Catholicism is massively flawed from the onset.

Look up the history of the development of the Latin mitre. And maybe look up the Greek (resembles a crown) and Armenian ones as well. You'll find the development of the mitre in Christianity is independent of little known pagan cults of prior millennia.
