Now if we look in the Strong's concordance, Greek # 5516 Χ ξ ς
chi, xi, stigma the 22nd, 14th and an obsolete letter (4742 as a cross) of the Greek alphabet (intermediate between the 5th and 6th), used as numbers; denoting respectively 600, 60 and 6; 666 as a numeral:--six hundred threescore and six. ( G4742 is stauros meaning a pole or post.)

Here we have these three symbols super imposed on each other.the X or chi for 600, ξ or xi for 60, l or stigma for 6 ( a post or pole for stigma, according to Strong's Concordance).
An important symbol of the Catholic Church, and most Christian Organizations is the fish. The Greek word Ichthus The church will tell you Ichthus is an acronym for: Iesous Christos Theos Uios soter, translated into English this reads, Jesus Christ God Son Savior, but If you look at the monogram of Ichthus in Greek the I, X, and ς . I know that it may be surprising to see this symbol on the Ambulances, but
why then do they call themselves St John's Ambulance?
And we see this same symbol, a mirror image, on the World Health Organization logo. Which brings into question, about mandatory vaccinations?
Now if we look in the bible we find in Revelation, the mention of the word Sorceries.
The word Sorceries used in these verses, comes from the Greek word Pharmakeia meaning, medication, pharmacy, and druggist. ( mixing of poisons).
Revelation 9:21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their Sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.
Revelation 18:23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy Sorceries were all nations deceived.
Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and Sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
In the following verse they use the word witchcraft, for Pharmikeia
Galatians 5:20 Idolatry, Witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,.
These are strong warnings against Pharmakeia,(Sorcery and Witchcraft).
Remember that we are supposed to seek the Almighty Yehowah first.

Now while on the subject of symbols we will take a look at the Chi, Rho. This seems to be another form of the 666 symbol, like the one on the Ambulances. The monogram of Christos. Greek ( Χριστος ). The monogram is made up of the 1st, 2nd, and last letters of the name.The Greek Chi = Χ , then the Greek letter Rho = Ρ , and the Greek letter Stigma= ϛ When we superimpose them we have this looking very much like the Greek signs for 666.
The Chi Rho is the symbol for "the Christ". The False Messiah.
The true son of the Almighty is Yehowshuwa the Messiah . Not the Christ!
Below is the symbol, with these three letters superimposed.Looking very simular to the St John's Ambulance, and used in many churches, below is one of the examples.You can find many Chi -Rho symbols, without the stigma used in churches here we have one with the stigma at the bottom. Carved in stone.
Considering all this, it is not surprising that the Pope's title add up to 666, it is the same symbol as the monogram for Christ, which the Pope claims to be, here on earth. That is why the Chi-Rho symbols are all over churches.

The Scriptures say for us to go "through the cross" (ie. take a stand for Christ Jesus), not to obscure Him with analysis that could very well be looked upon as conjecture. For if we see the way to God as through Christ's historical death and resurrection, we succeed (victoriously) in becoming the Father's children: sons of light. John 12:36 & Eph. 5: 8-10.

The "X", for Chi in the Greek, could actually be an Arabic symbol and the scribes assumed it to be Greek. The Arabic symbol is actually crossed swords, which is a reference to Islam. The symbol that looks like "Xi" might actually be the symbol for Allah in the Arabic, and it looks more like it anyway, if we are looking at the Codus Vaticanus. The last symbol many have assumed to be Greek, but it may actually be Arabic for "in the name of".

The number 666 as given in the Bible does not follow standard numerology, as the numbers contained in the name would reduce to 9 (666 becomes 18, which then yields 9). So perhaps we have to look deeper for a symbolic meaning. There are many symbolic uses of numbers in the Bible and other religious text. Examples: 1) 3 often held a holy association with many religions, particularly with a male god figure, a female god figure, and a temporarily earthbound demigod product of their union whom rises to god status. 2) 7 the number of days of creation, & the number of nights & days it rained during the first destruction (in one version of the Noah story, the other version states 40), & seventh heaven. 3) 40 frequently appears in Biblical text, however "40" does not mean that particular, exact number. It was a figure of speech for a generalized estimate. I.E. A number of objects equal to or greater than 2 people could count using all of their fingers and toes. The best literal translation for 40 is "many".
Sorry, but "666" or 600, 3x20, & 6, is a symbolic oddity. I haven't found any symbolic explanation for it's use, yet you might be onto something by converting it to Roman or Greek. You got me thinking that perhaps; "chi xi stigma" might also be a clue. So I looked into possible connections there:
Chi
Ch or Kh in the Greek. Chi or Qi in Taoism refers to a vital spiritual force inherent in all things. This could easily be interpreted as religious spirituality. Chi also shares the same word root as the name of the nation of China. It is highly likely that "Qi" shares the root as "Qing". I'm refering to the Qing Dynasty. The Qing Dynasty was the second time when the whole of China was ruled by foreigners, the Manchu. The first time was the Yuan Dynasty which placed it under Mongolian control.
Xi
X in the Greek. Xi, Hsi, or Si in Chinese refers to a place - a river in south China that runs from Yunnan to the Canton Delta & the South China Sea. The name "Yunnan" means "South of the Clouds" and became part of the Han Dynasty between 206 BC-220 AD. Which would be newsworthy at the time Revelation was written. The Canton Delta is the most highly populated area of Japan. In the 15th century Yunnan fell to Mongol control.
Stigma
This is an interesting addition as it can mean; "a mark or scar," perhaps one suggesting "disgrace, infamy, or reproach, which is exactly how John says God will view those who accept the "mark of the beast".
As one possibility, let's look at this in the context of an Apocalyptic countdown, it's context within Revelation, & recent history:
- Chi combined with Revelatins suggests a person or people of a religious fanaticist nature.
- With the fall of the Berlin Wall and dissolution of the USSR, people have forgotten that there were 3 major superpowers involved in the Cold War; USA, USSR, & the People's Republic of China.
- Gog & Magog (The Prince of Gog) refers to an area in Asia generally NorthEast of the Holy Land. For a long time this was assumed to refer to Russia, However, many of the NE lands were under Mongol control. The Mongolian Empire was reduced to a region bordering China & Russia. Afganistan was part of the Mongolian Empire.
- Although China has for the most part remained a sleeping tiger, it has also frequently been accused of selling arms to various Islamic terrorist organizations in the Middle East.
- These same Islamic terrorist organizations & their religious supporters have been calling for a Jihad (Holy War) against Israel (& the West) since Israel returned to becoming a nation in 1948. Like it or not, the "War on Terrorism" is evolving into a holy war. It certainly fits & could be imagined to fulfill the Revelation prophecies.
- These groups consider Osama bin Laden the "King of Terrorists" & he is nobility; an exiled prince of Saudi Arabia. His primary base of operations is Afganistan, which lies within the lands of Gog, & he certainly seems to qualify for the role of "Magog" and as either the antichrist or the beast.
- The 3 & 1/2 plus 3 1/2 (7) years reign would have to apply to him for Osama to be the anti-christ, but not necessarily to either the role of the beast or Magog,and each of the three can be seperate entities. And Revelation makes it clear the number given is for "the beast", not the antichrist. As of yet, it is still questionable whether or not Osama is already dead. However, even if he is, the prophecies of Revelation does not end the war of Armegeddon immediately upon the death of any of the three evil entities.
So anyway, there's some more food for thought.
